Abstract
The international team of authors has mapped in detail the history of spinal surgery, spine development, surgical anatomy, classification, diagnosis and treatment of various types of injuries, including traumatic deformities. Every chapter has its own set of patients with the results of the authors' treatment or results of multicenter studies.
Many years of experience of the authors in the treatment of severe cervical spine injury underscores extensive visual documentation.
