Abstract
The book is designed as a practical guide for doctors and nurses (stroke centers, neurological ICU, neurosurgical ICU, ARO department and ICU of other specialties). This is the first work of this type on the topic of neurointensive care in the Czech language.
The team of more than twenty authors is composed of leading experts - neurointhesists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation doctors, neuroradiologists, anesthesiologists and cardiologists from all over the Czech Republic (Prague, Ostrava, Brno, Olomouc, Chomutov, Ústí nad Labem, Jihlava). It is written in words and clearly distinguishes the binding recommendations of professional companies.
It uses a number of structured instructions, algorithms, diagrams and tables for a clear procedure in cases occurring in neurointensive care units. The format of the book is chosen according to the size of the medical coat pocket, it has thinner paper and plastic plates.
