Abstract
Forensic genetics is one of the youngest disciplines used in the judicial system to prove guilt or innocence. Forensic genetics made a giant technological leap forward since its discovery in 1984 and just the sensitivity of the tests improved more than 10000x.
Even if the error rate of the DNA analysis is relatively low special arrangements allowing independent re-testing of samples in question is a must.
