Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a serious inherited disease. The impact of her diagnosis on the patient and his surroundings is considerable.
It brings health, psychological, social and economic problems. Low awareness of the disease in our population compared to countries west of our borders makes life difficult for the sick and their families.
Unfortunately, we also encounter little awareness of doctors and the related late diagnosis, although this issue is repeatedly discussed in the professional press. We informed Vox Pediatria readers about CF in 1996 and 2002.
