Computer Modelling of Protein Structures and Interactions

Publication at Second Faculty of Medicine |
2007

Abstract

Computer modelling of intracellular and extracellular proteins is one of the crucial methods used in structural biology. It is particularly important when the protein structure cannot be identified by experimental methods.

The approach can be applied in artificial tissue preparation, e.g. that of joint cartilage.
