Abstract
Knowledge about Helicobacter pylori contribute to the understanding of its important role in the multifactorial pathogenesis of duodenal ulcer disease, gastric ulcer and in the emergence of relapses. Subsequent application of triple eradication therapy in clinical practice, affecting not only the healing of peptic lesions, but significantly reduced the incidence of duodenal ulcer recurrence in 0-10%, and improve the quality of life of disabled persons.
