Abstract

The presented case report describes the effect of insulin glargine in patients with pronounced dawn phenomenon. Treatment of hyperglycaemia in the early morning dawn phenomenon is the result of painstaking generally sufficiently effective so far appeared generally CSII system (called insulin pump).

The case report described clinical glargine resolve morning hyperglycaemia with an impressive response in the value of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c reduction from 8.3% to 6.1% within 4 months).
