Abstract

We measured free testosterone levels (T) of 30 males aged 16 - 18 (17.2 +- 0.6) in two experimental situations with result controlled scenario: 1) representing the possibility of gaining a mate as result of competition over rivals (T1) and 2) competition followed by loss of the mate to rival (T2). The levels were compared to basal level (T0).
