Abstract

Two new discovered written sources (a visitation report from 1671 and a copy of a letter addressed by Václav Roháček, a pastor of a village Vyšehořovice, to Maria Teresia of Savoy from the years 1763-1769) allow to reconstruct the appearance of Romanesque-Gothic church dedicated to Saint Martin. This church existed in Vyšehořovice from the second half of 13th century till the construction of a new Baroque church (11769-1770).

It is described both architecture and interior furnishing and facilities as well as local relations of this ecclesiastical monument.
