The Multiple Challenges of the Czech Presidential Election

Abstrakt

The mode of presidential election has been changed in thc Czech republic: the Czech constitution has been amended so as to elect the president by direct universal suffrage. If this choice meets probably legitimate expectation, it nevertheless raises various problems that have not been laid.

This article attempts to provide a reflection on the first direct election of the head of the Czech state in 2013.
