The author's primary aim is to contribute to defining social benefits arising from both accessible tourism services development and travel support to persons with disabilities. Her views are based on up-to-now professional discussions and on the analysis of selected documents.
She highlights, as well, other beneficial and desired dimensions than strictly economic ones. The referred social and ethical dimensions take into consideration not only the importance for entrepreneurs but, as well, their mediating role related to values of all tourism participants, potential clients with disabilities included.
This refers, in particular, to the positive impact on their life quality which has been widely discussed, and the promotion of real concern about that particular group of citizens shown in an attempt to meet their needs and rights in tourism.
