Universal deforming mechanical stress of biological structures

Publication

Abstract

Technical solutions deals with the construction of deforming stress for biological structures , which is able to perform accurate and controlled deformation of biological structures in 3D. Common deformers biological structures are limited in the number of model deformation methods , which do not reflect the real force acting on the stressed tissue.

If there is already a deformer settings intended to allow any deformation , and is designed so that control is maintained during deformation , which prevents feedback control. After a detailed study of the available measurement technologies within the grant TAČR TA - 01010860 and elementary science P38 was found that the normal deformers do not have sufficient accuracy to determine the type and controls intended deformation.

These disadvantages of existing deformers solves this technical solution for universal deformer mechanical stress biological structures , which is enabled by controlled tension, compression, torsion, bending and shear deformation / strained tissue is additionally allow deformation upon rotation about any axis deformed tissue. Enough degrees of freedom for these movements provides five two-axis rotary bearings and one hardback together with the use of rotary bearings.

Deformation movements are mediated by six stepper motors driving linear guides. All 6 stepper motors are controlled by six independent controllers ( Arduino ) software in NI Labview .
