Abstract
This article deals with Czech contribution to Belarusian studies in the period of 1945-2012. It shows that after short time from 1945 to 1948 Belarusian studies were mostly neglected until the creation of independent Belarusian state in 1991.
After that, a lot of texts from Czechs scholars appeared, mostly dealing with themes of Belarusian politics or sociolinguistics situation of the Belarusian language.
