This text deals with possibilities and limits of the education of older adults. Primarily it focuses on education and learning which will allow the participants' development of their independent and critical thinking that will make them perform more effectively in contemporary society, community and family.
The means for that are first of all correctly chosen education topics, convenient lecturer's attitude and adequate educational methods. Some limiting factors which can significantly influence the education of older adults are mentioned as well.
Some general recommendations for lecturers of older adults are suggested in the end of the text.
