HEALTHCARE WORKERS IN SUBSEQUENT CARE IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Abstract

limited number of human resources in the subsequent care and health care in general deserves adequate treatment in both organizations and the whole state or country. The aim is to point-out the sufficiency or insufficiency of healthcare workers in the subsequent healthcare in the Czech Republic.

The calculation is performed on the data of the National Reference Center. There is also used the Czech legislation and the statistical data from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic.

The results are discussed in a relation to the practical possibilities of the providers in the Czech healthcare system followed by a reflection on the appropriateness of regulating numbers of healthcare workers through the generally applicable legislation and the impact of legislative changes under health care reform. The quality of human resources is affected by the education system of healthcare workers and by managers responsible approach.
