Abstract

The melamine barbital co-crystal is a product of crystal engineering of non-linear optical materials composed of pharmaceutically active ingredients. The resulting crystal phase shows a non-linear effect higher than that of KDP.

The material was characterized by means of X-ray diffraction and optical property measurements and calculations.
