Abstract
Secondary school teachers encourage more and more their students to use internet in addition to class books and specialised literature. In general, students are quite familiar with internet and use it often as their first source of information.
Our aim was to establish an educational portal www.studiumbiochemie.cz which would offer peer reviewed information in the domain of biochemistry (secondary school level). The portal contains a variety of educational material - explanatory texts, didactic tests, static images, PowerPoint presentations, flash animations and links to other biochemistry oriented portals.
