Abstract
The first Czech book on middle school management - leading methodical association, subject or vintage teams etc. -represents a non-negligible role at the level between the director and the rank and file teachers. The author defines the term middle management schools in the Czech environment and its integration into the organizational structure of the school.
The book represents middle management competency model and develops individual competences. It also offers school headmasters ways how to exploit the potential of middle management by delegating tasks and activities.
The theory is complemented by practical demonstrations and attachments.
