Oral affections in oncological patients

Publication at Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen, First Faculty of Medicine |
2014

Abstract

In advanced medicine and nursing, the problems accompanying oral cavity affections, mainly in patients with cancer, but not only in these, belong to important areas where the cooperation in multiple medical specialties is of relevance. Oral cavity thus becomes a region that may be justifiably called, with some literary exaggeration, "a place of mutual encounters".

The monograph provides basic practical information intended for physicians, but also other nonmedical healthcare professions in the specialties of oncology and haemato-oncology.
