Expression to feedback on the program of addressed invitation in colorectal screening

Abstract

The National screening program for colorectal cancer (CRC) in the Czech Republic (CR) runs for 14 years and its positive influence can be documented from the Registry of Preventive Colonoscopy and indirectly from the National Cancer Registry. Participation of target population reached in 2012 a value of 25.8%.

Despite this is overall participation insufficient, according to the European recommendation is a minimum participation about 45% of the target population, optimally up to 65%. In order to increase the participation of the target population for screening CRC was introduced system of addressed invitation.

However, this has caused increase in demand for endoscopic workplaces. For this reason, after repeated negotiations with the Ministry of Health (MoH), was approved in May 2014 creating new performances in the new expertise Screening for colorectal cancer, which was given the number 195.

In the electronic database of performance of MoH were created registration lists (RL) of new performances, which have been added to new expertise 195. Finally, the value of performance screening colonoscopy was increase beyond regulation.
