Abstrakt
Our article is focused on pathophysiology of snow avalanche death. It analyses available information based on literature search.
The goal is the summarization and clarification, based on numerous researches and case interpretations, in the field of pathophysiology when buried under a snow avalanche. It is mainly focused on the hypercapnia and hypoxia issues during breathing into the snow and also on hypothermia and gas diffusion.
We assume that our results will be used for next surveys and for improvement the recent findings.
