Abstract
Textbook is intended for students of qualification distance courses. Its aim is to explain and clarify the basic knowledge of the Czech language and rhetoric, with an emphasis on the teaching profession.
In the beginning, students learn about the general nature of the language, a brief outline of the social context of the development of the Czech language, as well as will remember problematic topics from Czech orthography (supplemented with exercises) and morphology. Attention is also given to the basic rules of syntax and stylistics.
In the rhetoric section are discussed speaking techniques preparation of speeches and specifics of spoken language.
