Abstract
Oligoesters of lactic acid and glycolic acid branched using mannitol, synthetized at department of Pharmaceutical technology of Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University, was plasticized with chosen plasticizers (triethyl citrate, ethyl pyruvate, methyl salicylate, ethyl salicylate, triacetin, tributyrin). Plasticized system is perspective drug carrier in systems of modified drug release intended for injection application as in situ implants, or for spray topical application; or as topical matrix system.
Plasticizer efficiency was determined by glass transition temperature and sheare viscosity. All the tested plasticizers in concentration of 20 % decreased the Tg, and shear viscosity of the polyester branched with mannitol.
