Abstract
The text and course dealing with failure, error and obstacles in teaching and learning mathematics focuses on basic views on these concepts important at school as well as the everyday life. Besides characteristics and classification of the used concepts, attention is paid also to teachers' dealing with errors and possibilities of eliminating them.
The text is equipped with several examples illustrating presented ideas.
