History of the Czechoslovak - Romanian Alliance with respect to the Little Entente : The Beginning of Diplomatic Relations between Czechoslovakia and Romania and the Emergence of the Little Entente
Abstract
With the emergence the new "succesive" states in central and southeastern Europe, Czechoslovakia, Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes,Great Romania, in 1918, was possible to form Alliance between them. At first diplomatical relations, political, economic colaborations and finally military cooperation on the basis of Little Entente.
The Beginnings , development of the alliance, efforts aimed at maintaining it, and its end. Question of Romanian support of Czechoslovakia in the difficult days of Munich Crisis 1938: is a very cmplex one.
The trurh is that some - mostly diplomatic-,actions in support of Czechoslovakia, were taken, althought the reasons were not always unselfish. The fact that these actions fsiled cannot be attributed to the than oficial Romania only.
