On-line surveys on Virtual Remote Labs: lessons learned

Publication at Faculty of Education |
2014

Abstract

This article presents two surveys (one for teachers, the other for students) about Virtual Remote Labs (VRL). The purpose is to get feedback from teachers and students on science and engineering, as end users of a VRL platform for Optics and Photonics experimental teaching, as a complement to face-to-face taught sessions in the laboratory classroom.

The surveys were validated by international experts in science, engineering and education teaching. Both surveys are currently being filled by teachers and students.

The final structure of the surveys, comments received from experts prior to distribute them, and preliminary results obtained from both collectives are presented.
