International law limits on state power. Limitation of state power by international law at the beginning of the 21st century

Abstract

The chapter deals with the changing nature of contemporary international law, namely in therms of the sources of legitimacy, effects in national legal orders and institutional changes. This evolution of international law poses considerable limitations on state power.
