Abstract

The aim of the study materials is to acquaint students with the didactics of history as an interdiscilinary discipline and the development of history teaching in primary and secondary schools. Own content is: a brief development history of the school system and as a teaching subject in primary and secondary schools the Middle Ages to the present; historiography influence on the creation of the textbooks and teaching history; development of education and professionalization of teachers; principles of didactic analysis of textbooks in various stages as a historical source and teaching aids in the present; working with the map as a historical source and a learning tool, creating tests, forms and issues of extra-curricular and extra curricular teaching and the role of history in the educational process.
