Posttraumatic changes on the bones from Lužice (CZ) - the migration period cemetery (6th Century AD)

Abstrakt

In this sutdy, we analyzed the osteological material from the Migration Period site Lužice (the end of the 5th century AD till 1st half of the 6th century AD), one of the biggest Migration Period cemeteries in the Czech Republic, where 120 graves were excavated. We have found one clear case of posttraumatic change of bone which was probably the result of fight with another individual.
