Abstract

Text is a critical review of two exhibitions, organised by two different museum institutions in Vienna to the Great War centenary. The exhibition "Franz is here!" in Ethnographic museum (Weltmuseum Wien) and the exhibition "Objekte im Fokus: Arbeiten ruthenischer Flüchtlinge im Ersten Weltkrieg: Stick- und Knüpfmusterstücke" by Folklore Museum (Volkskunde Museum).
