Letter: telmisartan-associated enteropathy - is there any class effect?

Abstrakt

Sprue like enteropathy as a side effect of olmesartan was recognised recently. Authors describe first case of enteropathy associated with other member of sartan group: telmisartan.

This report thus indicates the possibility of class efect of ATII inhibitors in induction of this type of enteropathy.
