International guidelines for management of severe sepsis and septic shock 2014 - comment

Abstract

Sepsis is one of the leading and grossly under recognized cause of death in the world. If not recognized early and treated promptly, sepsis leads to septic shock, multiorgan failure and death.

This article summarizes recently updated international guidelines for management of severe sepsis and septic shock.
