Abstract

An assemblage of chipped stone industry, acquired by surface prospection in the vicinity of Bohuňovice village near Litomyšl has been analyzed from technotypological point of view. Tool types, along with patination of a part of the collection, reduction technology of cores, and raw material types indicate Late Palaeolithic age of the artefacts.

An analogy can be encountered in Tishnovian industries of Moravia, although some differences, above all in directions of raw material supply, are evident in Bohuňovice. Certain part of the assemblage is probably a Mesolithic intrusion.
