Abstract
The linguistic and literary analysis of the texts on celebration of the Eucharist in the Corinthian community, as it is presented in the 1st letter to the Corinthians demonstrates, that this from the beginning central cultic activity of Jesus' followers is interiorly bound to identity of the local community.
