Abstrakt
Random marked closed sets present a general concept for the description of random objects in Euclidean space. The thesis deals with the dimension reduction problém where dependence of a random closed set on underlying spatial variables is studied.
Further the estimation of characteristics of random sets is investigated and related to applications in materials research.
