Abstract
The aim of the specialized map is to evaluate the development and changes of regional differentiation of jobs in municipalities of the wide area of Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant (EDU) in the long term, capturing the state immediately after the fall of Socialism (1991), the transformation decade (2001) and the phase of market knowledge economy in the Czech Republic after the opening of the global economy (2011). Territory in which the EDU is located, is largely of peripheral character.
Despite that, thanks to the presence of a major employer, the village of Dukovany still retains the status of a major target of commuting.
