Abstract

Space time random sets are studied. First the random unions of interacting discs and their temporal evolution is described by a state space model.

Sequential Monte Carlo methods are used for parameter estimation. Secondly Lévy based space time point processes are introduced and their properties investigated.

Various methods of statistical analysis are described.
