Breast Cancer in Young Women - Lessons from an Institutional Review

Abstrakt

Analysis of a series of 516 breast cancer cases. Molecular profile (hormonally dependent, HER2 positive, triple negative) and age of the patients is reported.

OF thel 516 cases, 90 patients were under 49 years. Relative frequency of HER2+ cases is significantly higher in the younger population (p = 0.0032).
