The author seeks a new interpretation of Jan Hus, which is based on the philosophy of Alain Badiou. In the first part, three possible approaches to Hus and historical phenomena in general are presented.
The next section deals with the Badiou's conception of St. Paul and early Christianity in relation to his theory of situation, event, and subject.
On this basis, Hus is interpreted as a thinker of re-formation procedure, which is lacking at Badiou.
