Abstract
Book is conceived es an experimental monography of the important Czech sculptor Zbyněk Sekal (1923 - 1998). It is based on the confrontation of mental and esthetical principles of his deeply philosophical art work with the esthetics of the traditional japanese culture.
As a part of the monography, the edition of Sekal's diaries from his travel to |Japan in 1989 is published for the first ttime.
