Abstract
Publication critically assess new trends in the treatment of prosthetic joint infections. Not only new diagnostic methods, as well as antibiotics in a bone cement and other topical carriers and spacers.
A significant part is devoted to surface finishing of implants. Thesis also focused on postoperative analgesia and salvage surgeries.
