Abstract
Study analyses the concept, preparatory period, realisation and acceptance in the German press of a large exposition of actual Czechoslovak art prepared by the important Czech theoreticien Jindřich Chalupecký. It was the very first exhibition of the art fropm East Block in West Berlin after the WW2.
The study is accompaying with rare photographs from the exhibition found in the archives of Akademie der Kunste.
