Neolithic finds from Skřivany near Nový Bydžov in the prague University collection

Abstract

A publication of neolithic ceramic fragments from the settlement at Skřivany near Nový Bydžov (Eastern Bohemia), probably from an excavation of Albín Stocký around 1907, which are deposited in the collection of the Institute for Archaeology, Charles Unioversity, Prague. There are 56 ceramci fragments, dating ti the Neolithic (the Šárka phase, the Stroked Pottery culture).

A study on the possibility of identifying left-handed persons in the Stroked Pottery ornament makes a part of the article.
