Abstract
Gustav Husak became a symbol for one period of Czechoslovak history, but the interpretation of all his life was radical reappraisal during the turbulent 20th century. The poster was focused on the genesis of Husak's images in historiography and public discourse, and also drew attention to the Czech-Slovak differences.
