Determining a Proper Initial Configuration of Red-Black Planning by Machine Learning

Abstract

Red-Black planning is a new approach to heuristic design which generalizes the delete relaxation. The heuristic requires several parameters to be set properly in order to achieve good performance.

We propose a method to tune these parameters automatically based on machine learning.
