Trust and its parallels in Roman Law

Abstract

In the first part of this contribution the author describes briefly the trust which was implemented into Czech legal order by the Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code. Further the article focuses on the search of the parallels of such institute in Roman law, i.e. if there existed any legal institutes with similar purpose or construction regarding relationships of the involved persons.
