Abstract
Current surgical options (and experimental) treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer do not affect the prognosis of patients, only focus on the management of complications associated with the grade of the tumor. Surgery should be indicated where they have failed other less invasive methods.
Improvement is only possible with earlier diagnosis, or finding new treatments.
