The main objective of this study was to evaluate the attitudes towards physical activities by boys from Prague (CHP) and other region (CHM) primary schools. The results were compared by both groups.
The research sample consisted of 78 boys (age = 10.46 +- 0.53) from the fourth grade of elementary school. The 39 boys were of primary school in Prague (CHP) and rest 39 boys were from outside Prague's primary school (CHM).
The results of the study described the attitude toward physical activities by boys from Prague and outside Prague primary schools in each dimension questionnaire CATPA/Grade Year 3. The results were compared with using the nonparametric Mann-Whitney methods and Behrens - Fisher.
The results demonstrated that in dimensions of social engagement and joy of movement boys (CHM) M = 4,44 (SD = 0,88) have a more positive attitude towards physical activities than boys (CHP) M = 3,49 (SD = 0,94), in the significance level p < 0,05. We believe that this fact is due to the different lifestyles of children.
The other authors share the same opinion in framework. The actual results confirm that children from primary schools outside the capital have a positive relationship toward physical activities than children from primary schools of the capital city.
