Psychomotor development of children in Prague orphanages

Abstract

Orphanages are currently one of the hottest social problems of the Czech Republic. Some experts point to possible shortcomings in institutional care.

According to them, the institutional care delayed psychomotor development of the children in the orphanages through absence determinant of the family. Despite being, currently scientific studies do not evaluate this aspect of the development in orphanages in the Czech Republic.

The aim of the research is to determine the level of psychomotor development of children in orphanages in Prague (DD) and children from majority society (DVS). These two probands will comparison to each other groups because of same region approximately the same socio-economic conditions in the Czech Republic.
