Abstract

In 1989, thousands of East German citizens flooded the cities of Budapest, Prague and Warsaw. Relatively well-known partial chapters of East German exodus during the year 1989 are set up to a geographic and time synthesis of those events, which significantly contributed to the fall of the Berlin Wall and to the end of the Cold War.
